STATE FESTIVAL BATHUKAMMA CELEBRATIONS
Bathukamma is the State festival of Telangana. It is the festival of flowers.
Bathukamma is stacked with colourful flowers and treated as Goddess. Generally God is worshipped with flowers. In this festival of flowers Goddess Durgadevi is worshipped with sacred flowers like Tangedu and Gunugu.

On the occasion of Sankranthi , Rangoli is organised on this occasion girls participate in Muggulu competition organised by the school with the help of women teachers . It is a concept to encourage creativity and heritage.
The colony people also participate and witness the competition. They also encourage girl students as a part of Community Programme.
